  A big challenge is to get the technical ins and outs of the products to the people who need the information to do their job. Also the other way around: To receive as much information back that is needed to solve an issue in the field. This is possible multiple ways: Collect the necessary information and share it within a training, put the correct information in manuals and make them accessible, stay in close contact with all colleagues within Lely worldwide.

  After graduation I started within Lely as service technician of the product development department for the Lely Astronaut Milking Robot. I installed lots of 'new stuff' that needed to be tested for the commercial milking robots. In this period the Astronaut A3 was developed and just prior to the first yellow revolution in 2005 I brought the technical knowledge to the Technical Service Support department to continue my carreer there. The practical experience during these years still help me to guide myself and/or other people through all kind of technical challenges. Show less

  During my study I applied for a job during the weekend. Lely offered me a job for 8 ours each week at the Product Development Department. Prepare some test installations, do some tests and just getting experience on different skills. It was a great opportunity to get this chance at Lely.
