The program was a blend of experiential education, leadership training, and character building. We hiked and camped in the wilderness, advocated in Washington DC, and spent a week on a canoe trip in Algonquin Provincial Park, Canada. As director, I was in charge of all logistics (transportation, bookings, food, etc.), personnel training, and general care for the safety of our campers.
