I had an opportunity to work with Sandeep at IBM, he being my manager. As a manager, he was a very calming influence and has the knack of managing different people in a manner most appropriate to that person. But more than anything else, he has a very active empathy gene which , quite simply, makes him one of the best people manager I have worked with so far. Moreover, as a techie he could quickly understand technical intricacies during conversations and therefore helped people like me, who reported to him, to communicate our progress easily and precisely.
