Job Responsibilities Include:- Design Subsea General Assemblies and Hardware such as Umbilical Termination Head, Mudmat, SDU, Pulling Head GA, Umbilical Repair Joint GA, J tube Seal GA, Metallic Bend Limiter GA, Lifting Frames and Umbilical Storage Reels. Validate Product Design through Analytical Hand Calculations with respect to Lifting and Umbilical Installment Requirements to meet Industry and International Standards mainly API, ANSI and DNV. Independently handle the Project Lifecycle from Preliminary Concept Design of Product to final Manufacturing Drawings and Bill of Materials. Create Technical Reports and Specifications such as Hardware Design Reports, Load out Procedure, Installation Guidelines, Assembly Procedures, Material Selection Reports, Seabed Stability Report and Procurement Specifications. Being an SME, Impart Training and Knowledge Sharing Sessions for Umbilical and Ancillary Hardware Design, Thermoplastic Hose Design, Coupling Selection and Enovia PLM Processes. Assist team members in all aspects to improve their Technical Competency through on job training while monitoring individual tasks. Visit Clients and Manufacturing Plants in UK, US, Brazil as per Project Requirements to gain Umbilical/Product Expertise and to build strong Customer Relationship. Participate in regular Teleconferences and Interface meetings with onsite Clients/Engineering counterparts mainly in UK, US and Brazil to understand Scope of Work and to represent Design Progress Review/Presentations to establish Customer Satisfaction. Work on Organizational Process Improvement Program to improve Productivity using methodologies like Product Standardization, Design Review, and KPI documents. Assist in the identification of new Processes/Equipment and the Development of Acceptance criteria for existing and new Manufacturing Processes/Equipment & Development of Process control plans, Quality and Inspection/Test Plans.
