  The Sancheti Institute of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation (SIOR), located in Pune, was established in 1972 by Dr. K.H. Sancheti, a pioneer in the field of Orthopaedics. Sancheti began its journey as a 50 bedded Orthopaedic institute in Pune, today it is a 200 bedded, dedicated orthopaedic hospital, with a built-up area of more than 1, 50,000 sq. ft.Dr. Parag Sancheti specializes in knee surgery. He is an expert in knee arthroscopy, knee replacement, osteotomies around the knee and management of multiligament injuries of knee. He does more than 500 arthroscopic surgeries in a year which include ACL reconstruction, meniscus repairs, cartilage transplantations and other arthroscopic knee surgeries. He also does about 900 knee replacement surgeries a year. Dr. Parag is an Orthopaedic consultant to Ministry of Health, Oman. He regularly conducts clinics in Muscat, UAE, East Africa, Middle East & other countries to give his expert opinion He is also been the team doctor for the Indian Hockey Team, Boxing Team and Shooting Team. He is an expert in managing Sports Injuries especially around the knee.
