  Martinez Dance Company was founded by Ronald Martinez in 1998 in Victoria, BC. In 2004 a transition into Vancouver was made with Sanaa Martinez. Together they have served the dance community specializing in Salsa, Merengue, Bachata and other forms of latin dance as instructors, performers and volunteers. Outside of their studio, Ronald and Sanaa have run regular dance curriculums for the UBC Languages and Culture Program as well as for Elementary and High School Physical Education Dance Programs in Greater Vancouver and Vancouver Island. They have just recently concluded a volunteer dance program as part of the physical education courses in Hugh Boyd, Richmond and MacNeill Secondary schools in Richmond, BC in order to promote health, positive body image and confindence in the students.
