I had a pleasure of having Samuli as my mentor about SaaS sales models. He always had the patience and time to support HelpDesk on any daily issues that required urgent actions with our key accounts. Samuli´s support was key thing that our HelpDesk has achieved outstanding customer CSAT score 4.8/5.0 when measured on running one year period on out ticket system (Jira Service Desk). I had a pleasure to work with Samuli for four and a half years in the Fatman’s sales team. Samuli was sales lead in Fatman and also my mentor when I came into the industry. My key role was in new customer acquisition for Fatman’s SaaS Service. Together with our team, we increased the incoming SaaS revenue significantly. As a supervisor, Samuli is very supportive, flexible, and gives responsibility to his employees. He is interested in how the team members are feeling and managing in a hurry and always willing to help if necessary. Also, Samuli often likes to challenge and question if the team is doing the right things in the best possible manner. While he encourages his employees for continuous development, he strives to move forward and develop himself as well. He can give constructive feedback and also receive it. As a person, Samuli is an approachable, humorous, and warm person. We became good friends during these years. I think he is the best possible supervisor one could get, or at least I could wish for myself. Hopefully, one day we will be able to work together again.
