Sam is an incredibly supportive manager and a great mentor, we have known each other for more than 2 years through my role in the Elearning team at VU. He is someone who has a positive mindset, is very patient and wants the best outcome for every team member. He has helped greatly in my and other colleague’s career progression and overall he has been a great coach, friend and a colleague. I'm happy to have worked with Sam and would love to go to him for any support or advice in future.

Martti Martinson

Sam is a fantastic problem solver and a visionary thinker. As an academic, I strongly feel that Sam has been able to support the design and implementation of the blended learning strategy within our discipline. His "can-do" approach to everything has been most appreciated within our team and widely commended across the university. His knowledge and expertise about the possibilities and limitations of our LMS, as well as the global developments within the area of eLearning within the tertiary education sector, is impressive. I could not wish for a more competent, enthusiastic and cooperative colleague than Sam.
