I worked with Sam on two projects for ca. one year both in West Africa. Both countries were new and high risk where we needed to set up organisations from zero. Sam was fundamental in developing the business models and instrumental in ensuring we understood the financial returns, quantifying risk in a complex business environment. Sam showed great pragmatism and the ability to integrate within an Operational environment and provide the team with information that supported and helped decision making. He achieved this by excellent communciation and inter-personal skills and was able to use his skills to ensure we did not lost sight of the financial deliverables of the business. Finance was a tool to support and guide the projects and not an obstacle. I have rarely worked with a Finance professional who has such a combination of soft and hard skills who could genuinely and positively impact business decisions and been seen as an asset by all.

Sam is an excellent at budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis. He had responsibility for forecasting sales and expenses for a multi-division and multi-manufacturing division of a large PVC pipe and PVC fence operations. His interpersonal skills were excellent as he as able to effectively obtain the necessary information to complete the monthly updated for analysis of financial results as well as forecasts. I would gladly hire Sam in any financial capacity.
