Sam has an unhealthy obsession with JavaScript and was widely recognised as one of the main go-to guys at Mando Group for all things front-end related. Sam is easy to work with, can be relied upon to come up with fresh ideas and technically they don't come much better. As far as I know he doesn't answer to Samuel, except maybe unless you're his mum.

Sam is a very skilled Front End Developer, but not only is that a massive advantage to having Sam work on your projects, he also has experience as a Project Manager and has a great understanding of deadlines, realistic time-scales and client pressures. He communicates clearly when problems arise and also sources solutions, instead of just pushing the problem back to you. Great guy, really skilled.

We are a web development, design and marketing agency based in Nottingham. We build longstanding partnerships with the people we work with, combining creativity and strategy to design websites, applications and marketing plans that are right for you and your business. We are leaders in CraftCMS and have recently been recognised as one of their verified partners. We love the flexibility of its core functions and find it works well for designers, developers and content managers alike. I manage and work with a team of highly skilled and flexible people. My areas of expertise include e-commerce, bespoke applications and solutions architecture. I am also responsible for growing the development team and formulating its strategies.

Kurious specialises in e-commerce based solutions, from bespoke applications to customisable "off-the-shelf" sites using our internally developed products. My role as head of development is to oversee the development of our products, from ux to delivery, maintaining the roadmap inline with our business objectives. I'm also responsible for the solutions architecture and development strategies for bespoke project work as well as our products and R&D. I also consult within these areas, and speak at events on these subjects as well as CraftCMS. I lead and mentor our development team, encouraging self development and "out-of-the-box' thinking.

During my time at Mando my professional development covered a lot of disciplines. I started of as a designer/builder working with Photoshop/Fireworks, HTML/CSS. This led into Flash & actionscript (also Sliverlight) as well as Javascript. I then picked up programming using ASP and became a member of the programming department as well as the design department. This then led naturally into project management (Prince2 Qualified), so i could manage the whole process on smaller projects from requirements to delivery. As the industry matured and roles changed, i specialised in the Javascript side of development, and was also that bridge between the Frontend development and Programming departments.
