  Collaborated with a group of five to redesign a humidifier unit to save money on manufacturing and assembly. Created cost-benefit analyses of the initial design along with each new design iteration. Implemented a new water pan design to make the humidifier unit water-proof, and modified the initial design of the unit so the unit can be manufactured through injection molding rather than vacuum forming.   I joined a program where I explored a topic of interest and found a mentor who would help guide in researching this topic. Analyzed chemical changes and impacts of ocean acidification and how these changes could affect the metabolic rates of phytoplankton.
