Sam worked for me as a producer at GoPro. He showed great creative initiative and passion for producing photo shoots. GoPro is a unique place for photography that requires an innovative eye to make the shot and tell a story. Sam brought that creativity and budget consciousness each day to push the perception of what photography could be through the lens of GoPro. Sam made those shoots happen because he is an effect producer and team player. He makes the shot happen.

I had the pleasure of working side by side with Sam at GoPro and was blown away by both his creative vision and practical approach to bringing productions to life. If you're looking for a heavy lifter with big ideas who knows how to get sh*t done, I'd recommend Sam without question. As part of the social media team, I worked with Sam and his photo team often to plan and publish out best-in-class photo content via our social channels. As a photo producer, Sam championed content from athletes, internal / external photographers, UGC, and on-location GoPro photo productions to feed the content funnel for both social and marketing business units. His willingness to go above and beyond to tell engaging visual stories led to a huge lift in awareness and engagement on content, and I saw marked improvement in photo quality during his time at GoPro. As members of the cross-functional GoPro music team, I worked with Sam to navigate one of the most litigious content markets out of all our sports and verticals. Where other media team members and external partners would fall short on assuring content rights, locking in productions, and staying on-budget, Sam excelled and allowed us to enter a new lifestyle vertical with the content we needed to tell the music story via GoPro. From opening up his personal network of musicians and photographers to brainstorming ideas to aid teams outside his own, Sam was an integral part of getting GoPro Music off the ground and defining the look, tone, and feel of our music message. Sam is a rock-solid media producer and a great human being who knows his industry and his work well! Bottom line: Scoop him up and he will have impact on day 1.
