  Cryogenic System Development- Supported the development of a cryogenic tank system with design and analysis activities.- Analysed, designed and integrated the cryogenic thermal management system for the H2Gear System. Led a project with the System Architect to develop a range of cryogenic system designs, schematics, and models (Excel, MATLAB, MATHCAD), presented and debated a range of architectures to key stakeholders, invented new technology and evolved IDFs and patents surrounding said technology.Design, Space Allocation, System Integration:- Managed the preliminary design work and CAD data of the H2Gear Hydrogen Electric Propulsion system. - Built and managed a range of Bill of Materials creating key metrics for monitoring the development of new system architectures. Built system schematics and developed design standards for the project, managed space allocation and design of system configurations. Refined maintenance access requirements, failure rates, and captured component specific data.- Generated images for shareholder meetings/presentations, and generated models for export to partners for external design work. Test Cell Development:- Supported the development of a bespoke test cell. Redesigned current facilities and created new design/CAD work of bespoke equipment. Created detailed schematic and drawings for new test cell proposals.- Handled logistics, project management, resourcing and procurement, manufacturing, scheduling, budgeting, risk assessments, and more. Worked with facilities and environmental teams at Cowes site to develop plans.- Distributed work to an apprentice, trained apprentice in CATIA V5, and managed their task priorities.   · Developed, scheduled, and budgeted a new test cell while designing space allocation for the H2Gear hydrogen propulsion system. Provided aircraft design solutions with CATIA V5 for CFD simulations and developed the requirements management system for the H2Gear program.· Designed, coordinated, and managed a testing program to validate voiding in honeycomb ramps on series of carbon fibre panels. Designed testing procedure, performed stress analysis (hand calculations and FEA) with Patran & Nastran, produced models and drawings for test rigs and test pieces in CATIA V5, manufactured and assembled test rig, and performed destructive testing and analysis on results. · Transferred and converted multiple legacy projects from CATIA V4 to V5, from a UNIX system to a PLM system, generating V5 assemblies and subassemblies from V4 models.· Developed and released new work instructions and processes to reduce number of concessions RTO’d (Returned to originator) by 40% across engineering.
