Led/participated in the installation and commissioning of the National Load Dispatch Center SCADA / AGC System. Specialized in hardware. Performed installation, testing and commissioning of a 3 link, 120 channel microwave system, a 9 link power line carrier system, and the complete telephone communications system for the National Load Dispatch Center project. Repaired, adjusted and tested turbine governors and voltage regulators for 25 to 45 MW generators. Headed a team of engineers for measuring transfer functions of governors and exciters of all generators in the Nicaraguan network. Designed, programmed and tested the software for the PLC that controls the Asturias pumping station, part of the 50 MW CENTROAMERICA hydroelectric complex. Show less
