I worked with Samuel who reported to me at Inurba Mobility during a tough and intense ramp-up phase. Samuel played a crucial role with his clarity and drive to deliver according to plan. With his calmness, he handled all the obstacles and challenges that we had along the way in a good way. It was a real pleasure to work with Samuel

It is my pleasure to recommend Samuel Rasouli, and speak to the impact he made on my team and to the larger company since he joined TIER in 2021. Unfortunately, due to larger global and sector market uncertainties, TIER made the difficult decision to reduce workforce in August 2022 and sadly, Samuel was no longer able to continue in the company. What was most notable about working with Samuel, was that he excelled in everything he did. The role of the Operations Manager encompasses many dimensions: personnel management, logistics management, and data analysis to name a few. During Samuel’s time at TIER, I saw him define excellence in all these categories and more. Operational performance is in many ways measurable, and the objective metrics of Samuel’s work – which are often a precise holistic reflection of how all of one’s skills come together – were consistently some of the best, if not the best, in the entire company. There was also another notable situation in the company that Samuel should be commended for and that speaks to his professionalism, commitment, and desire to grow. We had a situation where the company required additional managers, but for cities that were not our top-performers, making it difficult to justify external recruitment. I discussed the situation with Samuel and explained that if he were willing to take on more responsibilities, it would help stabilise our financial performance. Although he would have been very much justified to have rejected this suggestion, Samuel didn’t even need to think before he accepted the offer willingly. Not only that, but Samuel completely revamped the performance in that city, bringing the market performance up to a standard consistent with all the work he has done at TIER. Further to Samuel’s top performance and commitment to the company, Samuel evolved to be the default team-member I would approach when I needed technical/ data assistance. I was shocked to see how knowledgeable he was in data analysis and manipulation, creating complex spreadsheets integrating multiple data sources, and his knowledge of SQL which he had apparently been learning independently! All in all, Samuel is a model employee. His contribution to TIER will never be forgotten or diminished. I can see Samuel succeeding in any company and bringing the same value elsewhere he did to TIER. I have no doubt that he has a bright professional future ahead of him, and would be an incredible asset in any organisation.
