  Troubleshoot hardware, software and connectivity issues for a mixed Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2003 network environment with Active Directory and Exchange Server 2010; managed the network environment consisting six servers in a virtual environment with two VMWare ESX hosts Created new user accounts and mailboxes, and managed these accounts and mailboxes. Installs computer hardware and software, run and terminate CAT 5 and CAT 6 cables with RJ45 connectors, and on patch panels. Provided Help Desk support to about 200 users, resolved issues with client workstations and applications, trained users in Department of State specific applications and cyber security awareness, thus making users to be more productive and efficient in their jobs. Monitored all workstations and servers for vulnerability and compliance issues via the Department of State developed monitoring application, and resolved any issues detected. Show less
