In this role I oversee the entire Ski and Board School at Sugar Bowl Resort out of two locations. Our products include Private Lessons, Groups Lessons and season long programs. I have a team of supervisors and an Asst. Manager that report to me and we manage the the maintenance of three buildings as well as every aspect of the guests Ski and Board School experience. This includes product sales, rental/check-in, the on snow lesson as well as lunch and the indoor portion of the day. In addition to this I am also responsible for product development, payroll, compliance/safety, staff training, hiring and managing various metrics associated with our operation. My Position at Northstar California Resort as a Program Manager is a winter seasonal position that I first started in October 2013.In this role I have a variety of direct reports that include ski school supervisors and ski instructors. I directly manage three ski school products at two separate locations and help with operations for the entire children's ski school. This includes managing inventories, staffing/scheduling as well as assisting in operations and ensure lessons run smoothly. I worked with a variety of other departments that operate at our resort including Rentals, Product Sales, Lift Ops, Terrain Parks and F&B. My Position at Heavenly Mountain Resort as the Summer Activities Manager is a summer seasonal position that I first started in May 2017 (previously Ropes Course Supervisor 2016).In this role I have a number of direct reports that include Activity Leads and Team Leads. I work directly with the Assistant Manager and Strategic Managers. I oversee operations of thirteen activities that are a variety of ground based and aerial activities. From summer tubing and an alpine coaster to ropes courses, zip lines and zip line tours.My primary focuses are operations, guest experience and hiring. I work a lot with other departments like activity maintenance, Sales, Marketing and Lift Ops. I also assist with overseeing training/compliance of our activities and incidence response for injuries and evacuations due to lightning, fire etc. Show less
