      I am AAT level 3 qualified, and have completed 5/6 modules of AAT level 4 (advanced diploma in accounting), and am expecting to be fully qualified very soon. I have also received my AAT level 4 business diploma, which has demonstrated my capacity to deliver presentations, research topics and businesses, and host meetings. I have had two and a half years of experience working in the audit department of a top 20 accountancy firm. I have performed a semi-senior role within this time, and I am familiar with analytical reviews, as well as the various sections and expected testing that make up an audit file. I have had training in SRA within the legal sector, as well as reporting officer duties when working with academies. I have experience of Teacher Pension Audits (TPAs) and I have also performed audit work for other corporate companies. I enjoy meeting and working with new clients. I have extensive knowledge of account preparation, particularly with the use of Sage line 50 and CaseWare (with both FRSSE and FRS102). I am well acquainted with the expected adjustments for such preparations including opening balance journals, depreciation charges, as well as other applicable adjustments including accruals and prepayments. I have also had experience of other accounting softwares including Xero and Sapa. I have an expert level of excel skills and excel VBA, and whilst working at my firm I have had experience in the creation of benchmarking spreadsheets and other spreadsheets, one of which is now used nationwide within my firm and was written with over 1000 lines of VBA code.
