I collected data, information, and feedback on Year 1 Mechanical Engineering at UCL, upon which I designed solutions to improve the teaching, structure, and resources for the academic year. I produced resources for students entering the first year and provided advice and solutions, which were presented to the teaching staff. The work was a great opportunity to produce concise, well-presented reports, design and produce useful resources and to ultimately improve the quality of students’ first year.

I designed and modelled an 'F1 in Schools' car using Fusion 360. I then applied Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software to optimise the design for aerodynamics. From this, I learned about the tools to machine components using CNC. I also contributed to the design of a track simulator for the F1 in Schools competition. I designed a multifunctional public building, which would implement a vast range of functions. I stripped down the assignment and criteria to their core, identifying the core problem and derived the most ideal and efficient solution. I reviewed contracts and developed some knowledge about land law and the legal industry. In this time, I applied attention to detail, when searching for small errors and contradictions within the draft legal documents. I was tasked to design an innovative car park. During this time, I applied knowledge of physics, maths and material science, to design a cost-effective multi-story car park. I used Revit, the 3D modelling software. I was tasked to design an innovative car park.
