I was an intern here for my second Northeastern Co-op, and I was a part of the Instrumentation and Controls department. My normal jobs included programming Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), editing Human Machine Interfaces (HMI), and working on Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (PID). I have experience in taking PIDs and turning it into a workable program with an HMI that will automate a process and include both manual overrides and safety interlocks. I also calibrated several of the instruments used in the process.
