After developing an interest in banking, monetary theory and heterodox economics, researching topics such as credit creation and monetary theory throughout my first year of University I joined DSEP, where I wrote minutes for the society meetings, produced numerous published articles for the Pluralist magazine as well as organising 6 speakers to give talks on numerous areas of Heterodox Economics. After successfully receiving the DAAD HSK Scholarship I spent a month in Munich where I was privileged to enjoy full time German lessons in preparation for my year abroad whilst being able to explore Munichz squeeze in a few hikes in the Alps and meet a wonderfully international cohort of students.
