The core of my role is to drive pipeline growth within the market. I am responsible for sourcing new business and discovering if there is an opportunity for a partnership. I focus on B2B outreach with high volume in calls, emails and social touches (Likedin, Twitter, Instagram). I am responsible for making the first inbound/outbound contact to potential clients and qualifying the prospects to accelerate business growth in 2022. I constantly keep a record of the people I speak to and follow up when necessary.I find that it is important to relate to people in this line of work. I put time into researching prospects so that I can understand them and the best way to speak to them.

Running and managing my own events company to target and offer students at the University of Hertfordshire a different experience of music & nightlife. Planet Motion Events focuses on providing electronic music ranging from Drum and Bass, House, UKG, Jungle and Techno. The first ever event for PM was held on the 6th of March in the Attic (The Forum, Hatfield), with a 320 sell-out capacity. The event is explicit to students and guests of students at the University of Hertfordshire. My responsibilities - - Logo design- Brand development - Marketing plan: physical & digital. - Organisation + schedules - DJ liaison - Ticketing- Recruiting + management of 20 promoters In the return from COVID, I have 4 dates booked for the first semester of University. My first event is a drum and bass, grass roots inspired style event featuring some of the most exciting young talent in the scene. The capacity of the venue is 550 with early bird tickets landing at £4 and final release rising to £10. @planetmotionevents (Instagram) @planetmotionevents (Facebook)

After completing my dissertation for University, I started part-time work with an employer based in St Albans. The company is renowned for it's creative event management for major UK festivals including Wilderness, Standon Calling and Boardmasters. My work with the company has been heavily admin focused, with main responsibilities including:- Digital file organisation - Logo + social media post design - Collating PowerPoints for clients- Acting as the first point of contact for the company - Contacting and liaising with clients - Sourcing artists and content producers - Writing and sending deal memos for artists/content producers - Finding and purchasing décor for events - Assisting the setup, organisation and control of ‘live days’ - Creating schedules for ‘live days’ The company is small and private, consequently my responsibilities change day by day, whilst this is challenging, I am eager to learn and develop greater experience from a fast-paced environment. We have also faced great disappointment as of the last PM’s announcement, postponing the return for live music, this has obliterated 50% of the events we had been working towards in the summer months. Despite this frustration, we keep our heads up and minds focused for the end of July summer announcement. In the meantime, we have been working on some socially distanced events with At Home Farm Live featuring artists such as Jack Garrett (26th June), James Bay (30th July) and Freya Ridings (16th July). Audiences for these events have been limited to less than 250 events, however, have run smoothly and received positive audience feedback.
