As an Intellectual Property Attorney, I have had the opportunity to interact with many engineers, often times to discuss highly technical aspects of projects and/or inventions they had been working on at the time. I have found that not all engineers possess the ability to effectively translate their highly technical ideas into language that a lay person can understand. Sam Howes has that ability. I had the opportunity to work with Sam on several projects while I worked as an Attorney in the Boston area and while we both studied at Boston University. While working with Sam, his ability to explain advance programming techniques impressed me. This was not all, Sam was always punctual, always went the extra mile, took pride in his work, and picked up the workload of other less reliable teammates when needed - even if it meant staying on campus late into the night. While debugging his programs, rather than finding a fix and simply moving on, Sam learned about the problem and learned how to avoid it next time around. Sam is a quality person, has a great work ethic, and is very easy to work with. I would recommend him to anyone.
