Samuel is one of the rare IT specialist that are able cover a very wide range of skills from VMWare Virtualisation to Cisco networking, with Microsoft servers, databases, Checkpoint firewalls in between. His knowledge in these fields are in-depth, gained over many years of system and network design, implementation and troubleshooting. But Samuel is much more than a top-level technical specialist. He is a team-worker par excellence. During over three years we worked together in a major technology refresh programme at the NHS, I found that he was always ready to help his team members and watch over their work, even when he was not asked to, ensuring the IT systems operated optimally. One of these guys you would want to watch your back as you go into battle, although the battles may have been only to do with the internal politics of a governmental agency. It was a privilege to have worked with Samuel - I much appreciated his technical cooperation as well as his friendship.
