As the first UX researcher at the company I developed and implemented a research strategy that was practiced day-to-day by the entire product team to continuously discover key insights in order to improve our products. Research methods included in-depth and contextual interviews, focus group discussions, concept testing, prototype testing (moderated and unmoderated), user story mapping, opportunity and assumption mapping, A/B testing, and surveys. During my everyday work I collected unstructured, qualitative data before converting it into actionable results that were surfaced routinely across product and engineering teams to inform next steps in the development cycle. I took a lot of pride in representing users within the company and presented compelling findings and user stories across the entire organisation on a weekly basis to build empathy and to help position the working lives of the medical professionals at the heart of our work.
