I am currently employed as the Corporate Wells Manager and report to the Technical Director, managing a team of 6, including 2 Well Delivery Managers, Business Manager, Drilling Advisor, Principal Well Engineer Completions and Principal Well Drilling Engineer, delivering optimal drilling and completions programme to meet short and long term business strategy.• Providing drilling and completions contracting and technical expertise to develop a robust scope for all service contracts and quality assurance process for implementation as per corporate drilling standards, policies and procedures to achieve immediate and long-term business objectives.• Recruiting, developing, training and assigning competent drilling and completions staff to support well delivery. Key Achievements:• Led execution of $400 million Capex wells budget for delivery of 21 wells in 2014 which was the peak of Seplat / NPDC JV well operations from inception to date.• Nominated by Senior Leadership Team to lead the safety leadership workstream, including development of 11 mandatory safety rules, safety videos and facility signage, resulting with a renewed Seplat HSE culture and improvement in HSE performance.• Pioneered strategic COVID-19 test models covering ~900 personnel, enabling delivery of 5 wells with zero HSE incident operations, securing $49 million and 2020 CEO’S HSE award recognition for team performance.• Led team to achieve 3-million-man hours and LTI free drilling from 2014 to 2017, receiving 2017 TD HSE award.• Achieved 10% cost reduction and generated $6 million revenue from unlocked production deferment through Oben and Sapele field clustered drilling operations.• Proffered engineering solution with WAB (Well Anulus Barrier) new technology in Oben-51 well to resolve zonal isolation challenges across multiple reservoirs during a severe losses situation. • Developed and presented a structured well engineering career development plan to HR. I was employed as a Senior Drilling Engineer and reported to the Well Delivery Manager, managing a team of 5 personnel, including the Rig Manager, 2 x DSV, Drilling Engineer, Well Site Drilling Engineers and HSE Supervisor and indirectly responsible for 100+ drilling contractor and service company personnel, planning and executing drilling and completion operations.• Participated in investigations of incidents with diverse teams to determine route cause, learning’s and recommendations to management.• Managed interfaces between field production, logistics, materials, drilling and completion, engineering.• Led DWOP, CWOP, WWOP & AAR meetings for all wells scheduled in the Technical Work Programme.• Managed drilling and completion contracts by ensuring the right set of tools were called-off from the appropriate contract without exceeding ceiling value and contract validity.• Ensured smooth start-up of new rigs (swamp and land) by coordinating inspection and ensured follow-up of punch list closeout based on order of priority.• Participated in SUBCOM, TECOM and OPCOM meetings to secure well performance and budget approval.• Coached, developed and supervise younger engineers.Key Achievements:• Managed and successfully delivered the first Seplat oil well, Oben-31 with a production rate of 1000 bopd. • Led delivery of complex workover wells activities that did not have a complete status diagram.• Coordinated planning and execution of workover operations on a 2 rig sequence , including start-up of the third rig during the same period.
