I know Sam through the York Science Park where we are both residents. Last year we started discussing options for a new Lead Generation Campaign. We decided to use TailorMade Media for generating regular leads for our new graduate recruitment software. Previously we had been using Google AdWords and while this had delivered some leads we felt that the flow of enquiries was sporadic and the lead quality inconsistent. We really enjoyed working with the team at TailorMade who supported us in building a bespoke campaign targeted at key decision makers within a defined national target market. Having run similar campaigns in the past our major concern was lead quality. As things turned out we had little to be concerned about; the quality of the leads generated was excellent and many have subsequently been progressed into paying customers. What we liked about the TailorMade approach was the business model and the deliverables; in effect we paid a fixed price for an agreed volume of quality leads and that’s what we got.       The main purpose of this role was to stimulate interest in entrepreneurship and the support available for entrepreneurs with a view to encouraging the establishment of successful new start up businesses in the Yorkshire and Humber Region. As an Enterprise Champion and member of the Ideas Development team, I was responsible for both developing and delivering the content of the Business Ideas Workshop as well as titles from the new Diversity programme (which are aimed at specific and sometimes hard to engage groups).       I was responsible for marketing the offices, virtual reception service and conference facilities in an RDA funded Creative Industries Centre, which consequently played an instrumental role in the town of Scarborough winning the title of most Enterprising place in Europe. At Woodend, I worked with external providers to coordinate an events schedule which consisted of workshops that provided business support and promoted these regionally to SMEs. Regular market research was conducted with the tenants of the centre as part of various research projects to ascertain what supported they required whilst establishing how satisfaction could be improved. I also encouraged the creation of a community with joint working initiatives amongst the businesses - which were inclusive of graphic and web designers, photographers, architects, IT companies and prestigious organisations such as the Scarborough Museums Trust and the BBC.
