I worked with Samrat over a 3 year period in Microsoft New Zealand and worked with him on some very large programmes of work. Samrat undertook his Engagement Manager role with professionalism, dedication, with excellent interpersonal skills in managing stakeholders and team members. Samrat is very personable and brings some much valued humour into customer interaction. He would be an asset to any project and service delivery organisation, I would be very happy to work with Samrat again!

I have been working with Samrat on numerous projects with a variety of customers. I would definitely recommend Samrat as a very experienced and knowledgeable project leader. His excellent communication skills make huge difference in the stakeholders ' level of engagement, he has strong ability to build new relationships as well as support and develop the existing ones. Samrat has strong business acumen, on several occasions he demonstrated his talent in converting early stage opportunities into solid deals.

This role is a blend of business management, account/portfolio management and delivery management.Probably the most challenging role in Microsoft Consulting as the breadth of this role ranges from active participation in business development (presales) process to managing the delivery of the engagements and all along acting as a conduit between customer executives and Microsoft leadership. The responsibilities for this role encompasses Program Management, Engagement Management, Project Management, Bid Management, Pre-Sales and Delivery of projects or large program of work.7+ years across 3 subsidiaries - India (2007-11), NZ (2011-13) and South East Asia (2014-15) and this role required me to manage visibility across Leadership levels (C Levels) both externally and internally across the region. In this role, I've been entrusted to manage programs of work which were strategic and impactful for both customer and Microsoft. Few examples are enterprise rollout of eCommerce for a FMCG multinational, Business Intelligence application rollout for a major BPO, Infrastructure consolidation and migration to cloud for a Oil and Gas major, large scale Integration for a multinational, driving cloud initiatives across public sector across India and APAC.Over these 7+ years at work, have evolved from EM to Senior EM and then to Principal EM.
