I have entered a new chapter at Bucket Listers with one word coming to mind - Leadership. I'll be taking on new responsibilities as a team manager while working closely with the leadership team to execute on our vision, to inspire experiences.Daily tasks will still include prospecting, negotiating and growing marketplace and media deal structures for the BD team. The overall focus is to think bigger, finding partners that fit our long term vision for the company.Communication is one of the top things I value. Being a small team, it's vital to work smoothly with other teams included operations, content, brand partnerships and the leadership team. That communication extends out of the workspace by talking common interests: travel, entrepreneurship, food/best restaurants and of course, the big dreams on each of our bucket lists. Show less

Worked hand-in-hand with the program director, learning aspects of media buying, audio editing and event promotion for Hot 99.5, DC 101 and BIG 100. Also, gained insight on construction of “Raving Maniacs” and “The Crisis of Infinite” Podcasts available on iHeart's podcasting app. Involved in months of preparation and same day execution of sold-out event, iHeart's D.C. Jingle Ball working in the control room and backstage. My job was to wear many hats as an intern at iHeart. I took this opportunity to be a sponge and learn as much as I could about the fields of content, promotions, managing and more. I would also shadow the talent, learn their "voice" and ghost write blog, facebook and instagram posts. This internship qualified as my capstone internship at the Philip Merrill College of Journalism. Show less
