• Look after the policy issues related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), LDC Graduation, & Climate Change and remain engaged with government agencies for making those issues compatible with business needs • Conduct research, study policy, prepare briefs on various environmental, social, economic, and trade policies, and suggest them to the concerned ministries and government agencies as and when required • Prepare private sector views on policies related to the SDGs, LDC graduation, & Climate Change and recommend them to the government for consideration • Follow up on the implementation of policies by the concerned ministries. Organize review meetings on existing policies and identify the gaps and practical needs of specific affected groups • Represent employers and the private sector in various policy forums at the national and international level and act as the focal person in various public and private sector agencies • Arranging meetings of the Board of Directors, Committees, AGM, EGM, B2B, G2B, FGD, etc. (producing agendas, preparing minutes, conveying decisions, handling meeting correspondence, etc.) • Write reports and briefs, prepare notes, minutes, circulars, edit/drafting emails, letters, MoUs, Agreements, ToR, speeches, press releases, and publications (monthly/yearly) • Coordinate and liaise with member firms, government agencies, development partners, think tanks, civil society organizations, chambers, and associations on concerned issues Show less
