  Est. in 2008, MAGIC HOUR FILMS (MHF), is an award winning production company with offices in India & Singapore. MHF has produced 5 Feature Films and over 50 Documentaries, TVCs & Music Videos. MHF has also provided production services on more than 20 international film projects. These include a feature film for ARTE (France): “J’irai au Pays des Neiges”, “The Science of Compassion” a docu-feature by internationally acclaimed director Shekhar Kapur, another docu-feature “Kalachakra” featuring His Holiness the Dalai Lama and several documentaries for National Geographic Channel, Discovery and other reputed TV Channels. MHF also provided production support on the Ang Lee's Oscar winning feature film “Life of Pi”. Arun Karthik's "Nasir" is MAGIC HOUR FILMS latest feature film production. An Indo Dutch co production, it is India's first recipient for both the reputed NFF-Hubert Bals development & production funds. "Nasir" was nominated for the coveted Tiger Awards at the 49th International Film Festival of Rotterdam and went on to win its prestigious Netpac Award. Aditya Vikram Sengupta's critically acclaimed "Jonaki" is MHF's other feature production. Another international co production, it traveled to several international film festivals including Rotterdam, Los Angeles, Shanghai, Sydney, Barcelona and won the Silver Gateway award at the MAMI Mumbai Film Festival in 2018. It is now streaming on Netflix. Psychological horror "Nirvana Inn" starring Adil Hussain (Life of Pi) that premiered at the Busan International Film Festival 2019 and yet to be released "Kalla Nottam" are also produced by MHF. MHF has produced over 50 TV commercials for several multinational brands such Volkswagen, Honda, BMW, Nissan, Fiat, Johnson & Johnson, P&G, Diageo, FedEx amongst others. Recent awards include “Best Documentary” for Danger Zone – Kabul at the Asian Television Awards, Singapore.
