Bio
Krishna Nayak
Samir is a great person and was a pleasure to work with. As a PhD student at USC, he contributed to our research group's early explorations of compressed sensing in MRI. He touched on many applications, including acceleration of routine brain MRI, before focusing his doctoral dissertation on the acceleration of abdominal fat-water separated MRI. He was a great team player, extremely systematic in his work, and a very clear communicator. Also, he looks 10 years younger without that beard!
