  Through this job I've had interactions with Ford, Chrysler, and GM in meeting to their standards. I've had to create a gauging program for one of them to their specifications. I was walked through the process and all the work that goes into it. I've had to create a gauging program for one of them to their specifications. I was walked through the process and all the work that goes into it. Once a gauging program was completed I was set loose with some direction along with a small team on finding a way to improve this process. Currently the small team and I are creating Databases, updating older programs from VB6, and creating new ones from scratch in order to reach this goal. We are mainly developing an app in VBA. Working at Intra has shown me what the real work world is like. Prior to Intra the only experience I've had in my field is in relation to school projects and homework. Having weekly meetings and deadlines has shown me the true process of working in this field. With me being able to adapt to and use what I've learned in school to solve my day to day problems I was able to find a work flow that worked for me and the company as a whole. Because of this I am able to produce work of high quality. Show less
