Topics included various aspects of the industry and company such as technology, innovation, finance, customer experience, market and competitor analysis, sustainability and ethics and TV & media. In additions to this we visited and got familiar with all the markets in which Telia operates and gained further understanding on the telco business in different market settings. 2.Personal project: My main project for the 12 month program was managing and coordinating the recruitment of the 300+ summer trainees in Finland. Tasks included coaching and consulting recruitment managers, writing and publishing job advertisements, on boarding new employees, creation of a marketing campaign on Facebook and Instagram, improving the whole recruitment process, speaking at various events, university partnerships and organising various events such as university excursions, case competitions and recruitment fairs. 3.Innovation project: We were coached and prepared to take on an innovation project regarding smart cities. We worked on the task for several months by innovation and design thinking concepts in order to create a concrete service or a product. We analysed and researched multiple aspects of said topic, interviewed customers and various organisation leads, prototyped, tested and created a minimum viable product which we presented to group executive management.
