Laboratory testing includes Distillation (ASTM D-86), Pour Point, Cloud Point, Freezing Point (in jet fuels), Total Acid Number, Total Base Number, Density, Viscosity, Cold Filter Plugging Point, Calorific Value by using Bomb Calorimeter, Gas Chromatography to separate compounds, Chloride and sulfate ions detection by Ion Chromatography, Flash Point (Pensky Marten Closed Cup & Cleveland Open Cup), Absorbance by UV Spectrophotometer, Fluorescence Indicator Analysis for the detection of Aromatics, Olefins and Saturates, Metal Detection on ICP-OES, Smoke Point, Sediment by Hot Filtration and Water Content by Potentiometric and Coulometric Karl Fischer.
