I known Sami since ever. We did our master together in Gothenburg. Sami was not only a dedicated student who stood out from the crowd, but he was also a highly inclusive person seeking integration and participation of everyone, regardless of nationality. Sami always showed focus and leadership in college. He always tried to challenge himself and get out of his comfort zone. I remember when skiing, while the rest of us was between skiing and snowboarding, he would try telemark for the first time, in the black slopes. Not to mention that one of my unique life experiences was his initiative, play an ice hockey match in the frozen Baltic sea under the lights of the northern lights. With Sami there is always a new challenge.
