During this one month internship at the department of Medical Physics of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Greece, I was responsible for the testing and proof-reading of a mobile pain management application developed for patients suffering from chronic pain. I also got introduced into the world of living labs and other health-related tech. It taught me the basics about how medical technology research and development works and gave me a look into the future of medicine.Furthermore, this internship gave me the opportunity to experience working in a both international and multidisciplinary environment, which I found very interesting, and made me realize that such a setting is something I will be looking for in my future career.
