  My role at this hospital was to closely follow physicians into Dr./Patient consultations and document notes in an extremely quick and proficient manner. Although difficult at first to maintain a fast pace, I quickly learned to be as efficient as the job entailed and have now refined my skills in fast typing, active listening, and communicating when something needed to be clarified.   This was a tutoring position I held for the Summer, when my first year finished. As compared to my other tutoring position, this job required more public speaking and presentations for parents and children (in classroom groups). This experience was integral to my growth as a public speaker and led to significant changes in my confidence in myself as a distributer of information.
