Responsibilities: - Reporting to the CEO, I am responsible for developing new products and managing network upgrade & expansion. As the company’s top engineering role, I work closely with the top management in developing and deploying new products which defines the strategic direction, development, and future growth - Responsible for managing and expanding the countrywide MPLS core network, including carrier tails and wireless network as the last mile in major cities and 4G in remote areas. Accomplishments: - Engineered a solution to sell services with static IP Address services over carrier neutral 4G-LTE. We are the first carrier in the country to be able to do that over 4G-LTE services in the country. - Designed and deployed a solution to make the voice network datacentre redundant with automatic failover. - Deployed bi-lateral BGP IX-Peering and updated the routing to prefer peering than carrier transit and helped reduce the overall cost. - Expanded the network in Brisbane and Perth datacentre. - Expanded the wireless network from 1 basestation in Braeside to 5 covering most of Southeast Melbourne and expanded the portfolio of services that can be provided. - Wrote a PHP script to auto-generate Mikrotik configuration for customer routers for different service types, to eliminate any errors during provisioning, thereby ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of Network Operations Centre (NOC). - Worked closely with DevOps to integrate the provisioning scripts and automate device backups

Responsibilities & Accomplishments: • Deployed countrywide MPLS core network by researching and utilising alternate and open source technologies such as virtual routers & firewalls, L2TPNS, SDN (Virtualisation & Cloud Computing) and hosted single & multi-tenant PBX in meeting core infrastructure needs. • Collaborated with the sales team in designing network diagrams using Visio and documenting customer solutions as part of pre-sales requirement. • Put in place network monitoring systems for core infrastructure and client networks with the aid of soft wares such as Zabbix and DUDE. Instructed the provisioning team to add all new services to the monitoring system. • Wrote a PHP script to auto-generate Cisco configuration for customer routers to eliminate any errors committed by the provisioning team, thereby ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of Network Operations Centre (NOC). • Implemented different scripts in the network to automatically backup all devices as a Disaster Recovery (DR) measure. • Implemented Racktables as a platform for managing and auditing of IP Address(s), VLANs and data centre asset management. Responsibilities & Accomplishments: • Used alternate vendors and technologies such as Brocade Vyatta & Mikrotik routers, DCN & HP Switches, Ubiquity & Mikrotik wireless equipment, hosted PBX, Virtualisation, etc. • Reviewed, redesigned and documented the core network by upgrading the routing fabric to Vyatta routers achieving redundancy in Melbourne and Sydney networks using multiple carriers peering; leading to the reduced use of interstate links and localising the internet traffic to regional entry and exit points. Also, installed switching fabric to enhance network performance. • Implemented Zabbix as the network monitoring system for core infrastructure and client networks. Responsibilities & Accomplishments: • Responsible for the setup, maintenance, monitoring and upgrading of the in-house and client networks. • Achieved network redundancy of the main link by setting up the new link of 250Mbps as primary and existing 20Mbps as secondary.
