Responsibilities: - Reporting to the CEO, I am responsible for developing new products and managing network upgrade & expansion. As the company’s top engineering role, I work closely with the top management in developing and deploying new products which defines the strategic direction, development, and future growth - Responsible for managing and expanding the countrywide MPLS core network, including carrier tails and wireless network as the last mile in major cities and 4G in remote areas. Accomplishments: - Engineered a solution to sell services with static IP Address services over carrier neutral 4G-LTE. We are the first carrier in the country to be able to do that over 4G-LTE services in the country. - Designed and deployed a solution to make the voice network datacentre redundant with automatic failover. - Deployed bi-lateral BGP IX-Peering and updated the routing to prefer peering than carrier transit and helped reduce the overall cost. - Expanded the network in Brisbane and Perth datacentre. - Expanded the wireless network from 1 basestation in Braeside to 5 covering most of Southeast Melbourne and expanded the portfolio of services that can be provided. - Wrote a PHP script to auto-generate Mikrotik configuration for customer routers for different service types, to eliminate any errors during provisioning, thereby ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of Network Operations Centre (NOC). - Worked closely with DevOps to integrate the provisioning scripts and automate device backups
