I have had the pleasure of working with Samarth during my internship at Qualcomm. Samarth was my mentor during my 3 month long summer internship. Samarth is a great mentor, he helped me and guided me on the day to day activities on tasks assigned to me. I learned a lot from Samarth during the initial days of my career. Samarth always supported me and shared his experience and knowledge about verification and the VLSI Industry in general that enabled me to quickly grasp details about the complex design and verification methodologies that were being used at Qualcomm. His skill set would definitely make him a great fit to any semiconductor/VLSI company.

      1) Responsible for SoC level verification of clock controller IPs for Snapdragon mobile SoCs.2) Ensured high-quality of functional vectors from clocking perspective, delivered from SoC DV for post-silicon bring-up and other engineering activities3) Developed a methodology using PERL and SLN to enable clocks in simulations on a use-case basis - achieved improvement in simulation time and uncovered corner case clock dependencies. Additionally, trained team members across sites - Noida, Chennai, and Hyderabad to deploy this efficient methodology in their flows - leading to 20% reduction in simulation times Show less
