We have used Samara for our family photos for 2 years now. It started with a maternity session where she made me feel so beautiful and special. She joined us in the birthing room/surgery for the birth of our son. Throughout the year we’ve used her for his 1st birthday party, special events as well as 2 years of family holiday photos. I cannot put into words what spectacular and priceless memories Samara has created for our family. She is extremely professional when she shoots, but also understands her clients and knows how to make them feel comfortable. The birthing room is a very special place for a family and inviting in a photographer can be a big decision. She was able to capture moments on camera I would have never seen or that easily get forgotten with so much emotion in a day. Photographing family portraits and editing images. Most of the photo sessions I do are of families, babies and maternity shoots. I've been lucky enough to document an entire day of labor and delivery ... twice! I love that through my camera, I get to capture such intimate life moments. I still do this from time to time, but it's mostly just something I'll do for co-workers and friends now. :) I'm sure I'll get back to it more someday when time allows. I had a great time field producing a segment for 12 News called Comeback Student Athlete. In all, I told 27 motivational, inspirational pieces about kids -- high school and younger -- who came back to their sport after an injury or illness. I set up the interviews.
