In my time as a payroll consultant I have serviced +1000 different payroll clients and gained extensive experience on a variety of different payroll environments.I have knowledge of most industries including certain industrial council setups (i.e MIBCO)Duties:• Implement and tailor our payroll software for each client – which includes our main payroll product and then all joining nodes (leave, equity, general ledger, job costing). Often, the setup requires a needs analysis to determine the needs of the client and how we are going to manipulate the system to the client’s requirements. Such as,o Writing of methodso Writing of reportso Structure of the payroll setupo Additional payslip information• I provide accurate assistance with payroll processes; such as o EMP501 and IRP5 submissions to SARS on a bi-annual base, o Factory shutdowns in accordance to the industrial councils, o Separate payslip options, o Tax compliance,o Payroll administration• Statutory compliance (with lumpsums, shares, annuities etc)• I have a strong working knowledge of ETI (Employment Tax Incentive). I am able to set it up, back date info, calculationsI have knowledge of how IT works with regards to my work on the systems as clients often work on RDP’s or via a mapped drive. I am therefore extremely computer literate Major projects:• Imported and balanced a month for month take on for 5 years for a large international engineering company with over 65000 employees. I could do all work within the 600 quotes hours.• Month my month take on for my large clothing client who has casual employees – this was done purely for ETI purposes.
