  As a Sacramento native and new owner of Salon Paisley in Midtown, I love being a part of this city during such a vibrant time of growth. Although I have a B.A. in Organizational Communications from CSU Sacramento, it took only one year of working a desk job for me to realize that I wanted to be part of something innovative, creative, and people-oriented. I love working with my hands and this drew me to attending cosmetology school at Paul Mitchell Sacramento. After graduating from Paul Mitchell, I started renting a chair at a salon in Midtown the day after I got my license. Six months later, I was invited back to Paul Mitchell as a Learning Leader in the Phase 2 program. I fell in love with teaching and empowering the students to put out their best work. Salon Paisley has been my home now since 2010 and in 2012 I became a network educator for Bumble and Bumble, which has allowed me to further my skills with training in New York. My husband and I purchased Salon Paisley from its original owners in August 2015, and I’m excited to create a supportive and collaborative workplace that will empower hair and skin professionals to impact the lives of people in Sacramento.
