Developed and launched home health care company policy in efforts to reduce readmissions involving pneumonia census.Maternal child focus of practice includes: prenatal, postpartum, high risk neonatal, and high risk pediatrics with a variety of health problems and needs. ASU/Infusion Center Implemented patient care for 6-13 patients per section. Assessed patient status and notify physicians of clinical changes prior to surgery/procedure as well as post procedure. Started and maintained IV access and VP. Interacted with departments regarding patient care. Educated patient/family on pre-op/discharge instructions. Maintained patient charts and confidential files. Started and maintained plasma exchange aphaeresis procedures. 10 Rose Medical/Surgical/Neuro Implemented patient care for up to 8 patients per section. Scheduled patient admissions as well as discharges. Assess patient status and notified physicians of clinical changes. Interacted with numerous departments such as PT/OT/STs regarding patient care.
