I am a cultural heritage consultant with extensive experience in conservation and management of built heritage places. Since joining Converge in 2010, I have undertaken a wide range of heritage projects including: • Heritage management plans and conservation management plans. • Heritage impact statements. • Heritage masterplans. • Technical reports for environmental impact statements for large projects. • Pre-purchase heritage and character reviews. • Significance assessments. • Photographic archival recordings. • Archival research and analysis. I am a heritage consultant with a decade of experience in the industry. My work at Converge focuses primarily on the preservation and conservation management of historic heritage places. Place types include open spaces such as parks, gardens and cemeteries, as well as historic infrastructure, such as bridges, roads and rail, and various types of buildings; for example, Federation and Depression era masonry government buildings, Gothic Revival stone churches and halls, Art Deco commercial buildings, and Federation era timber homes. Working across so many different site types, I have extensive experience in providing practical advice for a range of places with different preservation needs. My specialist cultural heritage skills include the preparation of Conservation Management Plans (CMP), Heritage Impact Statements (HIS), photographic archival records, significance assessments and heritage interpretation. Working at various Local, State and Commonwealth heritage listed places, I have gained a comprehensive knowledge of the different levels of Australian heritage legislation and policies and have an excellent understanding the associated compliance requirements.
