Being one of my first retail experiences, I worked in the Online Grocery Pick-up/Site-to-Store Pick-up department. This experience made me curious as to how people shop and why they choose to purchase the items that they do. With Online Grocery Pick-up, an associate goes through the store to pick the items the customer wanted, if the item is unavailable the associate can substitute it for a different brand or a larger size. The process of substituting an item made me interested in how the consumer thinks in their shopping compared to how I shop for myself. Show less
