- Take patient's vitals and history and enter all gathered information into the patient's chart in SRS.- Help with pre-surgical exams and fill out all necessary paperwork. - Properly remove sutures and staples following injury/surgery. Dress wounds and instruct patients on how to change dressing if needed. - Prepare and assist providers with injections and aspirations.- Write up and send off all orders to the proper location that the over-seeing provider requests for the patient including: MRI, CT, pain management injections, blood/lab work to be completed, DME, physical therapy, and surgery orders.- Help patients understand the pain management agreement and any injection/procedure they might be getting as well as send medication refills with appropriate dates to the overseeing physician. - Properly cast and fit DME to patient. - Make home exercise programs according to patients’ needs and instruct patients on how to properly perform exercises. - Effectively take phone calls and listen to voicemails from both patients and other health care providers to be able to send a message to the appropriate provider and get back with the caller in a timely manner to get any concern resolved or question answered.
