Dedicated my time assisting patient care to the best of my abilities and provided great administrative skills when updating and organizing patient's charts. I became confortable performing multiple 12-lead EKG's and taking vital signs on a regular basis. Additionally, I made sure patients had a satisfactory experience before and after Doctor's assessment. I had the opportunity to refine my interpersonal skills with patients during their pre-interview and made them feel comfortable as well as safe to share any concern that needed the Doctor's attention. Furthermore, I sharpened my critical thinking skills under the clinic's fast-paced environment and could easily make independent thinking to notify the nurse of any important detail that needed attention based on the patient's report. Disinfected consultation rooms after each appointment and updated patient's record in the system online which include: family history, medication intake, diagnosis, cause of death, etc. I also assisted on telemetry and maintained patients' dignity. Lastly I became familiarized with the HIPPA contract and enhanced my problem-solving skills with distressed patients. Show less
