  At Sports Camp of America, 11 American student-athletes are selected from a nationwide pool of applicants to work as mentors and counselors to Japanese speaking school kids and middle schoolers. Camps were an English immersion experience for the kids and taught me valuable skills in communication and creative thinking to solve camp issues that arose.
