  Responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the AIM at Melanoma website in the U.S. Created and oversees patient education symposiums at major cancer centers throughout the country.Oversaw the creation of a melanoma oncology nursing initiative consisting of a 6 article supplement in CJON, a website with CME activities, tool kits for oncology nurses and materials for patients around side effect management. Oversaw the creation and launch of the AIM at Melanoma website in several European countries. Responsible for finding and assisting state legislators in introducing and passing indoor tanning device legislation (including the passage of the first bill to ban minors under 18 from tanning devices) acting as the liaison between various advocacy groups and legislators and providing testimony and materials discussing need for such legislation. Also, responsible for overseeing and administering AIM's other public policy initiatives, eg oral parity and biosimilar legislation.Responsible for reviewing new developments in melanoma and skin cancer research and treatment and making that information available to melanoma patients and their caregivers/families, as well as the general public. Educates the melanoma community and the general public using AIM's social media channels and educational materials.
